Mark D. Taylor, P.E., founded Jaymark Engineering Corporation (JEC) in Houston, Texas in the year of 1984. Mr. Taylor has developed a staff of qualified personnel with experience in consulting engineering and construction management services for educational, industrial, commercial, federal and public works facilities. JEC was formed because Mr. Taylor wanted to be recognized as an entrepreneur and as a leader in his profession earning a fair return for delivered services. Mr. Taylor was first introduced to construction during his childhood by working with construction companies owned by his family relatives. He maintained an interest in engineering and construction by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston and working ten years prior to establishing JEC.
